The Sacramento area has many things to offer for the out-of-town visitor. Shopping, golf, casino gaming and museums are among the attractions that are within 30 minutes of the tournament site, AMF Mardi Gras Lanes.

A valuable resource for finding points of interest in the Sacramento area is www.discovergold.org, a web site sponsored by the Sacramento Convention and Visitors Bureau.

We've taken the time to compile lists of attractions sorted by type and made them available through the links below. Shopping

There are a variety of shopping malls, outlet malls and boutiques in the area.

Golf

There are a number of golf courses for all tastes, budgets and skill levels all in close proximity to the tournament site.

Historical Sites

The California State Capitol building, historic Sutter's Fort and the California State Railroad Museum are all located in the greater Sacramento area.

Dining (coming soon)

Restaurants are plentiful in the Sacramento area, as well as in neighboring Roseville (about 10 minutes away).

Gaming

There are four excellent casinos within 90 minutes of the tournament site to satisfy your gaming needs. Of course, Reno is just 2 1/2 hours away.
